About L’Équipe Marcil

Our Story

L’Équipe Marcil inc is a Quebec family business specializing in the maintenance and repair of asphalt surfaces, founded in the Sherrington area of Montérégie. What started as a small crack sealing operation for local farmers has grown, over the decades, into a trusted supplier for condominiums, businesses, and municipalities across the South Shore of Montreal.

Our asphalt crack sealing division now accounts for the bulk of our activity. We chose this specialization because it offers the best cost-benefit ratio for our clients : for a fraction of the cost of repaving, a properly executed sealing job can extend the life of a parking lot by several years and prevent major repairs down the road.

Our base of operations is located in Sherrington, at the heart of the Jardins-de-Napierville Regional County Municipality (MRC). This position allows us to respond quickly across a wide radius south of Montreal. Our service area includes :

• Jardins-de-Napierville MRC : Sherrington, Napierville, Saint-Michel, Saint-Rémi, Saint-Édouard, Sainte-Clotilde, Hemmingford, Saint-Patrice-de-Sherrington, Saint-Jacques-le-Mineur.
• Haut-Richelieu MRC : Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Iberville, Saint-Luc, L’Acadie, Sainte-Anne-de-Sabrevois, Venise-en-Québec, Saint-Valentin.
• Roussillon MRC : La Prairie, Candiac, Saint-Constant, Delson, Saint-Philippe, Mercier, Châteauguay, Léry, Sainte-Catherine, Saint-Isidore.
• Haut-Saint-Laurent MRC : Huntingdon, Ormstown, Howick, Très-Saint-Sacrement, Saint-Chrysostome.
• Longueuil Agglomeration and surrounding areas : Brossard, Saint-Hubert, Saint-Lambert, Greenfield Park, Longueuil.

For larger projects, we can also travel further across the South Shore and as far as Saint-Hyacinthe, Beauharnois, and Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.

Our Quality Commitments

Three principles have guided every job we do since day one :

1. The right method for the right problem. We refuse to sell hot crack sealing when patching would be the better fit. We refuse to push a full resurfacing when a targeted sealing job would hold for three years. Our quotes always reflect what is genuinely needed — never what would be most profitable for us.
2. Products that meet the standards. We use exclusively polymer-modified bituminous sealants compliant with MTQ 14501 and bituminous hot mix in HL3 and HL8 categories from certified plants. No discount products, no improvisation.
3. Rigorous execution, every time. Every step of our process — from compressed air cleaning to pre-heating — is followed, even when no one is watching. That’s what makes the difference between a seal that holds for 6 years and one that cracks on the first winter.

RBQ Licence and Certifications

L’Équipe Marcil inc holds licence RBQ 5624-8867-01 from the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ), which authorizes us to carry out construction and maintenance work on roadways and paved surfaces. This licence is renewed annually and guarantees that our company meets the competency, integrity, and solvency requirements imposed by Quebec legislation.

We also carry civil liability and occupational injury insurance, with certificates available to our commercial and institutional clients prior to signing any contract. We are in good standing with the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST).

Our Team

Our sealing crews are trained in-house by our senior technicians. Every new team member goes through a minimum of two full seasons of apprenticeship before running a job site independently. This standard — not shared by all of our competitors — is the main reason our commercial clients return year after year : they know that the person showing up at their parking lot has the experience and training to get the job done right the first time.
